PRIVACY POLICY

SARL Hélium collects only the data necessary to respond to your requests, manage client relationships, and—with your consent—measure website traffic. This page explains what data is processed, the purposes and duration of processing, and how to exercise your rights.

2. Legal framework
Processing is carried out in accordance with Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, relating to data processing, files, and liberties, in the version applicable in New Caledonia resulting from Ordinance No. 2018-1125 of December 12, 2018. Hélium uses the principles of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as a reference.

Messages sent via the contact form are forwarded to Hélium by email. They are not stored in the site’s database.
Hélium does not sell or rent your data. No automated decision-making or profiling is carried out based on this data.
4. Recipients
Your data is accessible only to members of the Hélium team who require it. It may be processed on Hélium’s behalf by the following technical service providers:
- OVH SAS: website hosting on a server located in Sydney (Australia);
- Google: audience measurement (Google Analytics).
These service providers are subject to security and confidentiality obligations.
5. Transfers out of New Caledonia
The site is hosted in Australia. Google services may involve data processing in the United States. These transfers are governed by the contractual safeguards provided by these service providers, notably the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Cookies
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a website. helium.nc uses the following cookies:

Hélium protects your data through appropriate technical and organizational measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), up-to-date servers, restricted access, and regular backups.
8. Your rights
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- access, rectification and erasure;
- restriction of and objection to processing;
- portability of your data;
- withdrawal of your consent at any time, for the processing operations based on it;
- defining directives regarding the fate of your data after your death.
To exercise these rights, please write to contact@helium.nc or send a letter to the address specified in Article 1. We will respond within one month. If there is any doubt regarding your identity, we may request proof of identity.
9. Complaint
If you believe that your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL: 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07 – www.cnil.fr.
10. Modification of this policy
Hélium may update this policy, particularly in the event of changes to the site or regulations. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
